So I've found myself in Wheeling, West Virginia...
I’ve been to this city twice sophomore year of highschool for softball. The first time I stayed in this same exact hotel. When I looked out the window I noticed it was probably the same exact view. It’s possible it’s the same room. It’s just weird since it’s only been what? 3 years or so, yet I’m such a different person from my sophomore year-self. I’m...

This doesn't happen
This can’t be real life. In real life, cute guys who seem like really sweet guys don’t tell me that I’m pretty. Not many guys even give me a second glance. More importantly, those guys don’t see how nerdy and weird I am through my facebook page and not run in the other direction. Inevitably saying something stupid and ruining my chances in 3…2…

Indie Game: The Movie →
thatgamerhub:
For quite some time, gamers have been disappointed by video game movies. Most of them such as Alone in the Dark and BloodRayne are complete disasters while others are just okay (Resident…
This looks like it will be a brilliant documentary about the development of indie games. I’m definitely going to have to see this.

I saved this as a Word document and I’m going to try to follow as much of it as I can.
I can’t read this and I really want to. Is it just me or is the website down? Needed to remove the “www.”

Day 16 - A Song that you used to love but now hate
I really can’t come up with a song for this one. There are plenty of songs that I’m really tired of and press skip every time they come up on shuffle, but I don’t believe I’ve come to hate any song that I once loved.
For example, as much as I would like to say that I now hate my 4th grade favorite, “How You Remind Me” by Nickelback, I truthfully can’t....

LA Noire: The interactive detective →
nowherescape:
The makers of Grand Theft Auto are set to revolutionize gaming by exploring the noir crime genre. Here the aim is to interrogate criminals – not kill them. Not kill them? What’s the fun in that? I wanna get in gun-toting, all action Clint Eastwood mode. Make my day punks! Shoot first and ask the questions later is all I’m sayin’… Anyways, seriously now, great article on The...

“Beware, foolish mortal, you trespass in Akalabeth: World of Doom!!”
So warns the hand-rendered cover of a 1980 video game on floppy disc, designed for the Apple II computer—a machine whose anemic 16-kilobyte memory would choke on a single e-mail message today. The crude drawing of a horned monster accompanying the disc looks like something a teenage boy might have drawn,...

The (Unscientific) Tumblr Survey Results!
world-shaker:
A week ago I asked you all to take five minutes to fill out a quick survey about you, and how you use Tumblr. I hoped for around 500 responses.
I got nearly 3,000.
As promised, I’ve included the results below (in shiny graph form). There are over two dozen, so I’ve put them after the break to save your Dashboard from dying.
These results are based on an unscientific survey that...
